Welcome to Science @ Brownhill
Hello this is Science @ Brownhill and for whatever reason you have arrived at this webpage you are more than welcome.
In our department we teach secondary age pupils science up to GCSE level across the three Brownhill sites and most importantly we try to have fun doing it. Our vision statement is.
Our main focus in Science @ Brownhill is to provide a high quality science education to all of our students. We believe that all young people have a natural curiosity of science topics. We will attempt to build on this curiosity, create enthusiasm and build the scientific skills and knowledge of all the young people that we teach.
We believe that a Brownhill scientist is an independent thinker who can build their skills and knowledge working in co-operation with our staff. It is important that the things learned are relevant to a student’s everyday life to and enable a student to determine if something they are told or learn is true or false.
The curriculum lead for Science @ Brownhill is Stephen Catterall and the curriculum champions are Chloe Gee and Kevin Williams. If you need any assistance, we will be pleased to help we can be contacted by email on the addresses below
